Notes

• Ensure ISCSI is properly installed and running. Not just the socket but the service.
• Ensure firewall is either fully disabled or allowing access to the ISCSI port. This caused issues on arthur because I had only temporarily disabled the firewall and it then blocked access even though all the traffic was local. Note: EndeavourOS default firewall rules were at play, this was not an issue on my Debian machines (blackstaff and jlpks8888 ).
